Alexander (R)

Wesley Snipes appears again as The Daywalker in the third installment of the Blade series, Blade: Trinity. Now that the earth has been taken over by vampires, Blade joins a group of vampire hunters, The Nightstalkers, in an effort to get Earth back in the clutches of human hands. This is made ever more difficult when the vampires attempt to frame Blade in a series of murders. After a series of vicious battles, the end of the movie finds Blade face to face with Dracula. Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason (R)
The first Bridget Jones movie was charmingly foible-filled, from Bridget’s drunken attempts at karaoke during the office party to the unforgettable fire pole scene. Renee Zellweger packed on a few pounds and aced her role as the quirky Brit chick. The sequel is sure to see Bridg through more hysterical embarrassment and romantic blunders while choosing between her two cute British blokes played by Hugh Grant and Colin Farrell (sigh).
Now Showing: Knoxville Center, Wynnsong 16

Cellular (PG-13)
A young man (Chris Evans) innocently answers his cell phone and is thrown into a high-stakes, race-against-time thriller to save a complete stranger’s life.

Christmas with the Kranks (PG-13)
What’s a holiday season without a cheesy family comedy complete with old standby actors like Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis? The two pair up to play a married couple who, after their daughter goes to Peru for a Peace Corps mission, decide to cancel Christmas altogether and opt for a Caribbean cruise instead. A scramble to reinstate Chevy Chase-style decor and cheer ensues when their daughter calls suddenly to say she’ll be coming home after all.
