The Incredibles (PG)
These days, it seems to be a requirement for Hollywood’s A-listers to lend their voice to animated films—or maybe they are all just sick of the Zone diet. Anyhow, Pixar has done it again, rounding up Holly Hunter, Jason Lee, and Samuel L. Jackson for the hero-packed adventure. The plot follows Bob Parr, a former superhero known as “Mr. Incredible,” who moves to the ‘burbs for a normal life with the wife and kids. But it’s not long before he gets the call to duty for a hush-hush mission.

Shark Tale (PG)
Unlike last year’s big-biting, G-rated fish-flick Finding Nemo, this animated Dreamworks tale takes its cartoon a step higher (and darker) by presenting the child (and childlike adult) audience with a tiny hustler named Oscar (Will Smith) who’s hunted by a dangerous gang of killer sharks. Along with Smith, Renee Zellweger, Jack Black, Robert De Niro and director Martin Scorsese spotlight the impressive list of character voices.

Shrek 2 (PG)
That lovable green ogre Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) returns to the big screen in the sequel to the animated box office success. The royals, shocked by their daughter’s hubby and his sidekick, a wisecracking donkey (Eddie Murphy), conspire to break up the newlyweds with the help of a sword-toting fairy tale cat Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas).

Pulp fiction meets sci-fi in this star-studded, state-of-the-art special effects adventure. Filmed entirely against a blue screen, Sky Captain is the story of reporter Polly Perkins (Gwyneth Paltrow), mercenary aviator Sky Captain (Jude Law) and squadron commander Franky Cook (Angelina Jolie), who chase after the evil mastermind Dr. Totenkopt as he plots to destroy the planet.

High-comedy ensues as he insists on following though with his spirited mission, regardless of what the Valcos have to say (or do) about it.
