Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (PG-13)

Richard Curtis, the writer of Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill and Bridget Jones Diary takes his stab at directing the ensemble cast romantic comedy. The stories of several pairs intertwine: Hugh Grant is the new British Prime Minister who falls for his young assistant; the marriage of Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman is threatened by his flirtatious assistant; and Colin Firth's writer finds love with a Portuguese woman in the South of France.

When the enemy ship Acheron attacks the ship and many of his crew are injured, Aubrey must decided whether to stay and fight an impossible foe or head home.

Matrix Revolutions (R)
The third and final installment of The Matrix series whose greatest contribution to pop culture is black trenchcoats, cool sunglasses and slo-motion bullets. Revolutions finds Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) in a final battle against those big, metal squids that threaten to destroy Zion. The producers promise great surprises and a 14-minute, $40 million battle sequence.

Sean (Kevin Bacon) is a cop investigating the case with his partner (Laurence Fishburne). And Dave (Tim Robbins) is falling apart as he becomes a suspect in the crime. Directed by Clint Eastwood, written by Brian Helgeland, and based on the novel by Dennis Lehane.

Once Upon A Time In Mexico (R)
Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek return south of the border with Robert Rodriguez, the director who made them stars in Desperado, the 1995 remake/sequel to his low-budget, Sundance favorite, El Mariachi. The saga of the mysterious gunslinger (Banderas) continues with Johnny Depp as a renegade C.I.A. agent who brings El Mariachi out of retirement to assassinate the Mexican president. With Willem Dafoe, Cheech Marin, and Enrique Iglesias.

Runaway Jury (PG-13)
Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman meet on screen for the first time in the adaptation of John Grisham's courtroom drama gone wild. Hackman is a "jury consultant" who makes sure that juries are rigged in his rich clients' favor. Hoffman is the lawyer of a young widow suing a powerful corporation. But other forces threaten to sway the jury: juror John Cusack and a mysterious woman (Rachel Weisz) who attempts to blackmail Hackman.

Seabiscuit (PG-13)
Seabiscuit was a little horse who surprised everyone by winning races across America back in the 1930s. Tobey Maguire (Spider-man) plays Red Pollard, the tough jockey who survived a few serious accidents to ride the spindly-legged thoroughbred to fame. Written and directed by Gary Ross, the film is based on Laura Hillenbrand's wildly popular book.

Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (PG)
Writer/director Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Til Dawn, Desperado) brings us the third adventure of kid spies. Much creepiness and stalking by a chainsaw-happy dude named Leatherface follows. Produced by Michael Bay produces, with a score by Marilyn Manson.

A professor (Billy Connolly) and his son (Paul Walker) are working on the ruins of a castle that contain a chamber sealed for hundreds of years. When the dig opens a wormhole to the 14th century, they are sucked into medieval Europe and must find a way back to the 21st century.

Tupac Resurrection (R)
A documentary about the life, music and death of Tupac Shakur, the rapper and actor who gained as much notoriety for his talent as his trouble with the law. The MTV Film contains previously unreleased concert footage, home movies and plenty of narration from Tupac himself, who died in 1996 after being shot in Las Vegas by a still-unknown assailant.
