Based on the 1948 novel by Dodie Smith (who wrote The Hundred and One Dalmatians), I Capture the Castle is a portrait of an idiosyncratic family living in an abandoned English castle in 1938. Seventeen-year-old Cassandra (Romola Garai) narrates the story of her once-famous father suffering writer's block, her wacky mother and her sister Rose. When two American brothers (Henry Thomas and Marc Blucas) arrive to claim their castle, the possibility for romance grows exponentially.

As fellow insomniacs and Americans out of their element, Bob and Charlotte make a connection and discover they're not so alone in the big city after all. While the cowboys try to keep the peace in their territory, Waite falls in love with the affectionate townswoman Sue Barlow (Annette Bening).

Seabiscuit (PG-13)
Seabiscuit was a little horse who surprised everyone by winning races across America back in the 1930s. Tobey Maguire (Spider-man) plays Red Pollard, the tough jockey who survived a few serious accidents to ride the spindly legged thoroughbred to fame. Written and directed by Gary Ross, the film is based on Laura Hillenbrand's wildly popular book.
