French romantic thriller about a woman (Amelie's Audrey Tautou) who becomes enamored with a married doctor and tries to persuade him to leave his married wife. The twist is that the tale is told from both the woman's and the doctor's points of view.

Holes (PG)
A wrongly convicted kid (Shia LaBeouf) is sent to "Camp Green Lake," where the Warden (Sigourney Weaver) and her assistants Mr. Sir (Jon Voight) and Mr. Pendanski (Tim Blake Nelson) force the incarcerated children to dig holes in the desert all day—ostensibly to build character, but really to find a buried treasure.

House of 1000 Corpses (R)
Techno-metal artist and first-time feature film director Rob Zombie scared Universal so bad with horror movie House that they refused to release it, so lil' Lion's Gate picked it up. It's loosely a remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, i.e., teenagers get lost in the middle of nowhere, end up in a house full of crazies, and all sorts of gross and macabre things befall them.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (PG-13)
Kate Hudson is a women's magazine columnist who has ten days to write a column about all the things women do to drive men away. Matthew McConaughey is an ad exec who bets his boss that he can make a woman fall in love with him in ten days. Two such shallow characters deserve each other, so happily, they chance to meet.

Tommy Lee Jones plays an FBI deep-woods tracker (do you get the feeling that FBI agents get lost in the woods pretty regularly?) who tracks a crazed assassin (Benicio Del Toro) in the—you guessed it—deep woods. The tension will, no doubt *yawn* never stop.

A psychiatrist (Alfred Molina) reviews the case of a multiple-murderer (Pruitt Taylor Vince) as said murderer's lawyer works for a stay on the eve of his execution. As plans are made for the killer's transfer to court, 10 strangers (including John Cusack, Rebecca De Mornay, Ray Liotta, and Amanda Peet) find themselves stranded at a desolate desert hotel. One by one, they begin to die. Who's next? Why is it happening? What's the connection between the strangers? What's the connection with the soon-to-be-executed killer?

Jamie Kennedy is a white wannabe rapper whose father (Ryan O'Neil) is entering the California governor's race. Fearing his son will embarrass him (rightly so, no doubt), he hires a couple of actors (Taye Diggs and Anthony Anderson) to pretend they're thuggz-to-tha-bone gangstez, who proceed to "kidnap" the kid and take him to Compton to teach him about the "real" world.

DEA agent Sean Vetter (Vin Diesel) loses his girlfriend in what appears to be an act of retaliation for his nabbing a Mexican drug lord. A sleaze called Diablo (Timothy Olyphant) steps in to fill the vacuum in the drug cartel. Sooner or later, a confrontation must take place.
