Want a total surprise from the usual Pigeon Forge cuisine? The Tastebuds Cafe is one of the best Italian (and French and American) restaurants in the region, as seen in Southern Living and on the Food Network. Chef Giacomo Lijoi is a master of seasoning, bringing out sharp flavors from a variety of ingredients. Try the Scallops La Roma (with sundried tomatoes, garlic, and parsley sautéed in olive oil, butter, and a slightly sweet glaze) or the Chicken Fromage (Italian-style sautéed breast with smoked gouda cheese and montrachet).
