This old fashioned ice cream parlor/general store received rave reviews from Metro Pulse's own Bonnie Appetit who claims the fat-free Butter Pecan ice cream is "decadent" and "sweetly delicious." They also serve fat free smoothies and slushies as well as homemade salad sandwiches. Try this season's specialty, the galactic ice (a fat-free sorbet shake). Smoking outside.

Hilton Head is already famous for its gourmet ice cream, sherbet, sorbet, and Italian ices, which are all made fresh each week in the back room of its location. What you may not know is they now have fabulous desserts like their "Sorbet-Rita" (a combo of five sorbets and fresh fruit), "Caribbean Sunset" (cinnamon ice cream and mango sorbet with caramel topping, cinnamon-clove grapes, and a ginger molasses cookie), South Beach Key Lime Pie with blackberry sorbet, and Mom's Apple Pie with Meyer's rum raisin cinnamon ice cream.
