At the Family Inn on the Asheville Highway, the Flames Lounge is described as having a "Cheers" atmosphere with several locals who come in to mingle with those who are just passing through. The Lounge also has performers in from time to time on the weekend, offering anything from blues to bluegrass.

This newly renovated sports bar has become a hot spot for Vols ball. Sportscenter and dart boards provide entertainment during the winding-down hours.

One of several hotel attractions along its stretch of Cedar Bluff Road, Spinet's offers a less frantic form of entertainment at an earlier time in the evening. Tuesdays through Thursdays are led by a featured performer, usually Fredda Valentine, at 6:30 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays feature a live DJ (7-12 Friday, 8-12 Saturday).
