Appalachian Ballet Company

The ballet, a non-profit, regional organization, has performed in the area for 29 years and gives three major shows per year.

Circle Modern Dance

The Circle performs in venues from Chattanooga to Jonesborough, but gives at least two major shows in Knoxville per year. Their performances range from traditional pieces to experimental and multi-media pieces.

The City Ballet

They hold four shows per year at the Civic Auditorium. These performances generally occur during December, February and March and include traditional ballets such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Cinderella.

Dance Theatre of Knoxville

Tennessee Children's Dance Ensemble

TCDE has been in operation for 18 years and was voted Best Local Dance Company in the 1999 Metro Pulse Reader's Poll. The ensemble has traveled all over the country as well as internationally to perform, and is open to audition for children ages 8 to 14.
