A-1 hosts all types of art exhibits and also serves as one of the many venues for performance.

African American Art Gallery

The gallery carries mostly portrait studies and some still-life works by well-known artists from Charles Bibbs to Sidney Carter and many more. Also, they carry works by Ebony Vision and Fankofa.

Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts

The sprawling c ampus, nestled in green, away from Gatlinburg's bustle, features one-week adult workshops and its gallery hosts shows of national and faculty artists that are free to the public. Exhibits change several times per year.

Art and Antiques Gallery

The gallery features local artists and displays antiques. Each of the artists assists in the running of the gallery and the work of most artists is primarily inspired by the surrounding area.

Art Market includes original art and crafts by local and regional artists. Works range from pottery, glass and wood to sketching and painting.

Art's Desire

Art's Desire offers free painting of arts, crafts and pottery. Walk in, purchase a ceramic plate and paint it for a reduced fee. Art's Desire also hosts a summer camp.

Beads and Feathers Gallery

The gallery offers rocks, fossils, stones, and beads from around the world, as well as vintage and modern sterling silver chains, charms and more.

Bennett Galleries

This gallery has won Metro Pulse's Readers' Poll "Best Art Gallery" seven years in a row. Bennett Galleries & Company is recognized for its dedication to local artists, national exhibits, and non-profit organizations. Buying trips to Europe have stocked the gallery with unique furniture and antiques. Out-of-town guests will be happy to know that they ship anywhere.

The gallery specializes in African-American art and carries a number of limited edition prints. The gallery also provides framing services.

Foothills Gallery

The gallery is a Tennessee non-profit craft guild with over 200 members statewide. The gallery carries hand-made crafts that range from corn shuck dolls to pottery, weaving and metal working. Foothills also hosts a November show every year in the convention center at World's Fair Park.

Heirloom specializes in the restoration and preservation of photographs and oil paintings. The company originated in Canada and ships its works worldwide. Outstanding Expectations also carries unique items not often seen in Gatlinburg, from dollhouse miniatures to kites.

Java showcases local/regional artists weekly and monthly in all media to add a little artistic contemplation to your cup o' java.

The gallery carries everything from posters to originals. Liz-Beth is also the only local gallery to carrying Jim Gray prints and originals. Gray offers works in oils, watercolors, and bronze as well as framing services and a variety of potters works. Jim Gray has also been awarded best artist in the Metro Pulse Readers Poll.

Quinton represents ten artists. Their primary artist is Ron Williams, and they carry a large number of his oil paintings.

The galleries offer antiques and contemporary regional art. Also, they host one permanent collection called "The Bridges of Knox County," paintings of the county's bridges by local artist Ray Bradford. The galleries hold rotating shows every 6 to 8 weeks during the year and houses different media from traditional to abstract, woodworking, sculpture, and pottery.

The gallery sponsored by the Arts Council runs a series called "Artist of the Month." Works of each artist are displayed the entire month.
